What an awesome couple of weeks my family has just had. We were blessed by a couple in the choir with a condo in Myrtle Beach. Time was spent on the beach, the Lazy River, golf courses, restaurants, mini golf, and plenty of other stuff. It was truly a blessing for us to be able to get away and spend time together as a family. The weather was great and our condo couldn’t have been better. The kids loved jumping the waves and were surprisingly courageous sometimes. They are great kids and i am extremely proud to be their father, as well as proud of Trisha and the Godly mother and example she is to them. She is truly an awesome Wife and mother. We will have fond memories of Myrtle Beach for a while.
Ridgecrest was not as much fun, but equally good. If that makes sense. The main reason for going was so I could play my trumpet for the Florida Worship Choir which opened the Music Conference Monday night. The concert was great! Unfortunately, after the concert I started feeling all achy and cold. Well, the next couple of days weren’t fun. As of today, i am feeling better and can’t wait to get back on stage this Sunday! I have really missed Southpointe. I love to lead people in worship of our Almighty King. Can’t wait to direct the choir as well. Nothing makes me smile like worshipping my heavenly Father through music.
We also had the opportunity to spend some time with good friends form FBC Kissimmee. David is the Worship Leader there, and his wife Julia, have 6 children. God bless their ministry!
It’s always good to get together with them. Even if I am sick.
It’s been a great couple of weeks. Excited to be home, though. It’s always nice to get away, but it’s so much nicer to be back home!!!
